Course Outline:
Our workplace integrated Fork Lift training program has been designed for those who are required to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the operation of a Fork Lift. This program uses a mix of training theory and practical operation to provide students the knowledge of how to operate the equipment safely.
The course covers the steps of pre-operation inspections, overall equipment features, safe operation procedures and hazard avoidance. Throughout these chapters students gain a strong understanding of the equipment, the importance of the manual, safety decals, machine components, controls, capacities and stability principles. Students will learn to identify hazards, preparation of the Fork Lift and operator. Proper preparation and lifting of a load, how to navigate docks and ramps, tall loads and dangerous surfaces and how to deal with an emergency
You will be required to have 100% attendance, participate in skill demonstration, and complete a written exam and achieve a grade of 70% or higher. Students will spend the morning learning background information, legislation, basic principles of safe operation, load handling, and miscellaneous systems and issues.
This course follows and meets all protocols as lined out in Work Safe BC and OHS. The afternoon will be spent at your onsite location practicing hands-on skills.

This program uses a mix of training theory and practical skid steer operation to provide students the knowledge of how to operate the equipment safely. The course covers the steps of pre-operation inspections, overall equipment features, safe operation procedures and hazard avoidance. Throughout these chapters students gain a strong understanding of the skid steer, the importance of the manual, safety decals, machine components, controls, capacities and stability principles.
Our skid steer operator training program is for any employee who may be expected to complete work-related tasks that expose them to danger when working on or around a skid steer. The program teaches the information every employee needs to know in order to avoid accidents when performing work related tasks.
This course follows and meets all protocols as lined out in Work Safe BC and OHS. You will be required to have 100% attendance, participate in skill demonstration, and complete a written exam and achieve a grade of 70% or higher.
Students will spend the morning in the classroom learning background information, legislation, basic principles of safe operation, load handling, and miscellaneous systems and issues. The afternoon will be spent at your onsite location practicing hands-on skills.

This program uses a mix of training theory and practical loader operation to provide students the knowledge of how to operate the equipment safely. The course covers the steps of pre-operation inspections, overall equipment features, safe operation procedures and hazard avoidance. Throughout these chapters students gain a strong understanding of the equipment, the importance of the manual, safety decals, machine components, controls, capacities and stability principles.

This course is designed for planners, managers, supervisors and employees who are or will be required to develop, plan and implement any kind of ground disturbance.
Topics presented will include identifying and defining ground disturbance; describing the hazards of ground disturbance; what permits and agreements will be required; how to locate and identify underground facilities; regulations associated with ground disturbance; reclamation overview; responsibilities for owners and ground disturber; and safety requirements.
Theoretical concepts presented will be supplemented with a small group exercise related to planning a pipeline job.
*This Supervisory Level Ground Disturbance course has been assessed and is endorsed by the Alberta Common Ground Alliance as meeting the requirements of ABCGA Standard 201 Ground Disturbance Supervisory.
